Over 111,000 Jeribs of Pasture Surveyed in Paktia
In proceed of surveying, lining and registering pastures, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 111,905 jeribs (22,381 hectares) of pasture throughout eastern Paktia province.
Moreover, since the initiative, the MUDL has so far registered 4,490,335 jeribs (898,067 hectares) of pasture land in 28 provinces of the country.
Furthermore, through implementing the survey, lining and registering of pastures, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, creates the necessary conditions for optimal use of public and private pastures as the national wealth of the Afghan people, and creates favorable conditions for economic, livestock and self-sufficiency growth, which will fundamentally change lives of the people.
