Over 110,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Helmand

In implementation of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 117,092 jeribs (23,418.4 hectares) of state land and properties in southern Helmand province.
Out of total; 109,610 jeribs (21,922 hectares) are unused state land divided in 8 portions and the remaining 7,482 jeribs (1,496.4 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use in 29 portions throughout the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered, surveyed and mapped 4,569,102 jeribs (913,820.4 hectares) of land divided into 5,292 portions in 28 provinces of the country.
