Kabul Comprehensive Plan of Industrial Township for Carpet Wears Approved
Mr. Mahmood Karzai, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, in the sideline of a meeting with Mr. Mohammad Yaqoob Haidari, Governor of Kabul, joined by the Deputy Ministers of the ministry approved the comprehensive plan of Industrial Township for carpet wears situated in Shakardara district of Kabul.
Moreover, Mr. Roshaan Wolusmal, Deputy Minister of Urbanization Affairs, while providing information about master plan of the township, mentioned that the township has been designed on 3,000 jeribs of land.
Furthermore, Mr. Wolusmal stated that the townships has 4,841 residential plots, 307 industrial fields, 50 residential blocks and 77 commercial blocks.
In addition, the industrial township for carpet wears despite having residential plots, industrial and commercial areas, it has public facilities such as clinic, schools, kindergartens, green areas and bookstores.
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land, through the Deputy Ministry of Urbanization Affairs, has created four industrial townships for carpet wears based on the guidance of H.E. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in Nangarhar, Balkh, Kunduz and Kabul provinces.
