100 Jeribs of Grabbed Land Restituted in Balkh Province

The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has restituted 100 jeribs (20 hectares) of land and has provided better circumstances for its effective use, which was under the use of usurpers from the past many years in Khwaja Kaldari village of Kaldar district of northern Balkh province.

Moreover, the ministry out of 180,000 jeribs (36000 hectares) of grabbed state-owned land in Balkh, has restituted 80,000 jeribs (16000 hectares) of that and is committed to restitute the rest grabbed land.

In proceed of restituting grabbed state land, The Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far restituted 500,000 jeribs (100,000 hectares) of state land and related to that has recognized 18,823 land grabbers out of which 15,823 usurpers has been introduced to the Office of Chief of Staff to the President and Justice and Legislature authorities.
