Over 87,000 Houses Registered in Eight Cities

In proceeding of Program for Registration of Informal Settlement (PRUIS),
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL recently, has surveyed and registered 871,195 informal houses in eight capital cities of the country.
Out of the total; 505,666 houses have been registered in Kabul, 98,656 houses in Mazar e Sharif, 103,348 houses in Herat, 92,565 houses in Kandahar, 38,167 houses in Jalal Abad, 12,268 houses in Farah, 13,212 houses in Bamian, and 7,313 houses in Nili, the provincial city of Daikundi province.
Moreover, the MUDL is determined to formalize all informal and unplanned areas which through the program all residents could get benefit from it.
