Over 60% Restoration Work of Shah-e-Du Shamshira Completed

The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has completed 62 percent restoration work of Shah-e-Du Shamshira Mosque and it will be accomplished by the end of the solar year.
Moreover, the mosque is being renovated and restored on 425 square meters of land in two floors at a cost of about 23,631,000 AFN funded by the developmental budget of government,
The moasque is situated near Kabul River across Lais Bin Qais Shrine, known as Shah-e-Du Shamshira.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, through the National Directorate for Renovation and Restoration has so far completed the renovation and restoration work of Pul Khishti Mosque, Bagh-e-Bala Palace, Memorial of Parliament Martyrs, and first phase of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan hell Flag, Hirqa Mosque in Faizabad and the first phase restoration of Herat mosque.
