Over 480,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Nangarhar

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 480,656 jeribs (96,131.2 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 291 portions throughout eastern Nangarhar province.
Out of the total; 26,000 Jeribs (5,200 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 454,656 jeribs (90,931.2 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,811,482 jeribs (1,362,296.4 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 6,939 portions in 31 provinces of the country.
