Over 284,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Helmand

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 284,974 jeribs (56,994.8 hectares) of state land and public properties under state institutions use in throughout southern Helmand province.
Out of the total; 1,318 jeribs (263.6 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 283,656 jeribs (56,731.2 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the continuity of the process to facilitate the implementation of government’s major economic and development plans that are in the highest interest of the country.
