Over 280,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Paktika
In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 280,704 jeribs (56,140.8 hectares) of state land and public properties under state institutions use in eastern Paktika province.
Out of the total; 6,105 jeribs (1,221 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 274,599 jeribs (54,919.8 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the continuity of the process to facilitate the implementation of government’s major economic and development plans that are in the highest interest of the country.
