Over 252,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Herat

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has so far registered 252,417 jeribs (50,483.4 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in western Herat province.

Out of the total; 12,200 jeribs (2,440 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 240217 jeribs (48,043.4 hectares) of land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register state-owned land and use it to implement public projects throughout the country.
