Over 2,400 OCs Issued in Mazar-e-Sharif
In proceed of Programme for Registration of Urban Informal Settlement (PRUIS), the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has issued 2,451 occupancy certificates in urban informal and unplanned area in Mazar-e-Sharif, the provincial capital of Balkh province.
Moreover; process of registering urban informal area since two years has so far registered 800,000 houses in Kabul, Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif, Jalalabad, Kandahar, Farah, Bamyan, and Nili and distributed 30,000 houses occupancy certificates.
In addition, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has in view that by the end of year, register 1,000,000 houses and distribute 130,000 occupancy certificates to the houses in urban informal areas.
