Over 140,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Parwan
In proceed of State Land Bank implementation, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 140,462 jeribs (28,092.4 hectares) of state-owned and public properties under the use of state institutions in northern Parwan province.
Out of the total; 78,399 jeribs (15,679.8 hectares) are state land and property in Koh Safi district, 41,073 jeribs (8,214.6 hectares) are state land and property in Bagram district, 6,471 jeribs (1,294.2 hectares) are state land and property in Shinwari district, 6,485 jeribs (1,297 hectares) are state land and property in Jabal Seraj district and the remaining 8,034 jeribs (1,606.8 hectares) are state land and property in the outskirt of Charikar the provincial city of the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far surveyed, registered and mapped more than 5,100,000 jeribs (1,020,000 hectares) of state-owned land divided into 5,510 portion in 28 provinces of the country.
