Over 119,000 OC Issued in Eight Cities of the Country
In proceed of Programme for Registration of Urban Informal Settlement (PRUIS), the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has started distribution process of 119,088 occupancy certificates (OCs) for informal houses in Kabul, Herat, Mazar e Sharif, Jalal Abad, Kandahar, Farah, Bamian and Nili the provincial city of Daikundi province.
Out of the total; 17,233 occupancy certificates have been distributed in Kabul, 6,205 OCs in Herat, 2,700 OCs in Mazar e Shareef, 1,898 OCs in Jalal Abad, 2,810 OCs in Kandahar, 150 OCs in Farah, 1,798 OCs in Bamian, and 1,105 OCs in Nili the provincial city of Daikundi province.
