MUDL Completes Land Consolidation of Kabul-Arghandi 500 kV Energy Project
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has completed land consolidation and pricing process of 146 pylon-site of 500 kV Transection Power Route of Kabul – Arghandi has been completed for implementation.
Based on the reports of the Directorate of Public Projects of Coordination Affairs, the land has been consolidated in the districts of Qarabagh, Guldara, Shakrdara, Istalif, Farza and Paghman of Kabul province in order to fully implement the project.
Out of the total; 111 pylons have been consolidated and confirmed in private land and the remaining 35 pylons are located in state-own land.
By completion of the project, which the Ministry of Urban Development and Land is responsible for the acquisition, pricing and implementation of the project, will also address the shortage of power in Kabul as well, it will be possible to supply power to Kabul, south and southeastern provinces.
