Nearly 40 Pylon-Site Consolidate for CASA-1000 Project in Kapisa

Based on the report from the Directorate of Public Projects of Coordination Affairs of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has recently consolidated and priced 37 pylon-site for installation of CASA-1000 project in northeast Kapisa province.
Out of the total; 14 pylons are on private property and the reaming 24 pylons are on state property, however, the pylons are situated in Pafdam, Sanjan, Geraw Mori Kham Zargar of Hisai Awal Kohistan and Bolghain districts of Kohband.
Moreover, CASA-1000 is from among the importing energy projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land and with the coordination of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) and relevant departments have responsibility of consolidating the sites for the installation, land acquisition of private land as well providing ground for the implementation of the project.
Furthermore, through the consolidation of 24 pylons as state property, better circumstances have been provided for the installation of pylons to be started in Kapisa.
In addition, CASA-1000 project funding by the World Bank, 1,300 megawatt energy is being transferred from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan to Afghanistan and from there to Pakistan. The implementation of this indispensable project which has been named as the bridge between central Asia and south Asia, will light thousands of houses in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has deployed teams for the purpose of ownership consolidation, assessment and pricing of the properties on the way of the mentioned project to Kabul, Kapisa and Panjshir provinces.
