Mahmood Karzai: “No obstacle to implementation of development projects is acceptable”

H.E. Mahmoud Karzai Acting Minister of Urban Development and Lands met with Mohibullah Samim Acting Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs and Mr. Mahmoud Khan, Chairman of Suleimankhel Tribe of Paktika Province; discussed the acceleration of the implementation of construction projects.

At the outset, Mr. Mahmoud Khan, chairman of Suleimankhel tribe of Paktika province, briefed on construction projects and asked the leadership of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land to cooperate in removing obstacles to the implementation of construction projects, transferring land to the applicant's entities and accelerating the implementation of ongoing projects.

Subsequently, Mr. Mohibullah Samim, Acting Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs, called the role of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land important in urban development, adding that the ministry will cooperate with the government's sectorial ministries in solving the problems rising in the provinces.

Similarly, Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land Mr. Mahmoud Karzai emphasized on balanced development in the country and said that the ministry has started the process of implementing construction projects throughout the country and that no obstacles to the implementation of construction projects are acceptable for the ministry.

Acting Minister of Urban Development and Land said the role and contribution of the people in the implementation of construction projects is important and directed the relevant responsible to cooperate comprehensively in the implementation of construction projects in Paktika province and provide the ground to kick off new projects in the province.

At the end, acting minister of urban development and land and acting minister of borders and tribal affairs emphasized on joint work and strengthening the level of coordination between the two sides. ###
