Acting Minister of MUDL Visits 5th Macrorayan Residential Project
The acting minister of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, Mr. Mohammad Jawad Peikar, along with technical staff of the ministry, local representatives of municipality and residents of the area visited 5th Macrorayan residential project in Kabul.
Moreover, the minister at his heading to the project, assessed technical, environmental and possible threats of first phase of 6 blocks.
Mr. Mohammad Jawad Peikar; assigned a task to the Technical Directory of Housing of the ministry to prepare the infrastructural and comprehensive plan, upon the completion and data collection, start construction of infrastructure through the Ministry of Urban Development and Land.
In addition, the minister guided the construction company and department of fifth Macrorayan to start working of incomplete construction in order to provide opportunity for settlement urging to fence the surrounding of B1 and B2 and clear all the dirt and garbage of the area.
During the visit, the minister had a meeting with the local representatives of municipality and people of the area, he heard their grievances and assigned the relevant departments to provide confident housing for the residents in opposite of B1 and B2 blocks and play a key role in eradicating their problems.
At the same time, Mr. Mohammad Jawad Peikar assured to the local representatives of municipality and residents of the area in eradicating the problems on the level of the project, added that the ministry will take firm actions against the problems and asked the residents to help the ministry in implementing the project.
However, the construction work of the 5th Macrorayan, which was postponed for many years, due to some legal and technical issues, by the tireless efforts and struggles of the leadership of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land resumed its working and will be accomplished in near future.
At the end, the project of 5th Macrorayan at its first phase has been constructed on 13 jeribs of land, which consists of 10 blocks, out of the total; the construction of 6 blocks are 90 percent completed and the work of the remaining 4 will be started shortly.
