Over 75 Million AFN Have Been Added to the Government Treasury since the Distribution Through Occupancy Certificates to Residents of Informal Urban Areas
Due to the registration of informal houses and the distribution of occupancy certificates, the amount of 75, 893,793 AFN has recently been added to the government treasury.
From the total amount, over 46,000,000 AFN in Kabul, over 6,000,000 AFN in Herat, over 8,000,000 AFN in Balkh, over 3,000,000 AFN in Jalal Abad, over 4,000,000 AFN in Kandahar, over 242,000 AFN in Farah, over 5,000,000 AFN in Bamian, and over 1,000,000 AFN in Daikundi have been collected so far.
Further, the MUDL is determined to formalize unplanned urban areas across cities in the country.
