Over 457,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Nangarhar
In implementation of the State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has survey and registered 457,119 jeribs (91,423.8 hectares) of state-owned and public properties under state institutions use in eastern Nangarhar province.
Out of the total; 430,911 jeribs (86,182.2 hectares) is unused state-owned land and the remaining 26,208 jeribs (5,241.6 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
