Over 350,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Balkh

In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 358,001 jeribs (71,600.2 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 167 portions throughout the northern Balkh province.
Out of the total; 6,737 jeribs (1,347.4 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 351,264 jeribs (70,252.8 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the initiative in order to facilitate the implementation of government’s grand development and economic projects of the country.
