Over 315,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Helmand

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 315,157 Jeribs (63,031 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 134 portions throughout Helmand province.
Out of the total; 1,318 jeribs (263 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 313,839 jeribs (62,767 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,919,515 jeribs (1,383,903 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 7012 portions into 32 provinces of the country.
