Over 303,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Paktia
In proceed of state land bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 303,595 jeribs (60,719 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 294 portions throughout eastern Paktia province.
Out of the total; 1,863 jeribs (372.6 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 301,732 jeribs (60,346.4 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the initiative in order to facilitate the implementation of government’s grand development and economic projects of the country.
