Over 2,841,600 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Paktia

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 281,674 jeribs (56,334.8 hectares) of state land and public properties under the state institutions use in eastern Paktia province.

Out of the total; 1,863 jeribs (372.6 hectares) is public properties under the state institutions use and the remaining 279,811 jeribs (55,962.2 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered over 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register the land in order to facilitate the implementation of public projects.
