Over 268,600 Jeribs of Land Registered in Herat

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 268,649 jeribs (53,729.8 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions in western Herat province.

Out of the total; 8,425 jeribs (1,685 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 260,222 jeribs (52,044.4 hectares) of state-owned land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the MUDL, has so far registered more than 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state land and is determined to register the land in order to implement public projects in the country.
