Over 262,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Paktika
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, through the State Land Bank Programme, has survey and registered 262,114 jeribs (52,422.8 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under state institutions use in eastern Paktika province.
Out of the total; 256,011 jeribs (51,202.2 hectares) is unused state land and the remaining 6,103 jeribs (1,220.6 hectares) are public properties under state institutions use.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far registered about 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of state-owned land and is intended to pave the path for the implementation of public projects throughout the country.
