Over 228,000 Jeribs of Land Surveyed in Herat

In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has surveyed and registered 228,534 jeribs (45,706.8 hectares) of state land and properties in western Herat province.
Out of the total; 12,200 jeribs (2,440 hectares) of land, divided into 55 portions, is state-owned and the remaining 216,334 jeribs (43,266.8 hectares) of land, divided into 84 portions, is yet to be used throughout the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far surveyed, mapped and registered 5,392,794 jeribs (1,078,558.8 hectares) of state land and properties, divided into 6,092 portions, in 28 provinces of the country.
