Over 181,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Faryab

In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 181,295 Jeribs (36,259 hectares) of state-owned land and properties divided into 200 portions throughout northern Faryab province.

Out of the total; 9,294 jeribs (1,858 hectares) of land is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 172,001 jeribs (34,400 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, since the initiative, in order to implement grand development projects, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has registered 6,919,515 jeribs (1,383,903 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 7012 portions into 32 provinces of the country.
