Over 175,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Faryab

In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 175,963 jeribs (35,192.6 hectares) of state land and properties divided into 172 portions throughout northern Faryab province.

Out of the total; 9,294 jeribs (1,858.8 hectares) is pubic properties under state institutions use and the remaining 166,668 jeribs (33,333.6 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.

Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the initiative in order to facilitate the implementation of government’s grand development and economic projects of the country.
