Over 100,000 Jeribs of Land Registered in Laghman
In proceed of State Land Bank, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 158,194 jeribs (31,638.8 hectares) of unused state land and public properties under the use of government institutions in eastern Laghman province.
Out of the total; 143,050 jeribs (28,610 hectares) are unused state land and the remaining 15,144 jeribs (3028.8 hectares) are state properties in 256 portions in throughout the province.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered, surveyed and mapped 4,569,102 jeribs (913,820.4 hectares) of state land and properties in 5,696 portions in 28 provinces of the country.
