Over 459,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Nangarhar
In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has registered 459,467 jeribs (91,893.4 hectares) of state land and public properties under state institutions use divided into 278 portion throughout eastern Nangarhar province.
Out of the total; 14,848 jeribs (2,969.6 hectares) is public properties under state institutions use and the remaining 444,619 jeribs (88,923.8 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered 6,438,349 jeribs (1,287,669.8 hectares) of state land and public properties divided into 6,651 portions in 28 provinces and is committed to the continuity of the process to facilitate the implementation of government’s major economic and development plans that are in the highest interest of the country.
