Over 250,000 Jeribs of State Land Registered in Helmand
In proceed of State Land Bank Programme, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 250,048 jeribs (50,009.6 hectares) of state-owned land and public properties under the state institutions use in southern Helmand province.
Out of the total; 7,652 jeribs (1,530.4 hectares) is public properties under the state institutions use and the remaining 242,396 jeribs (48,479.2 hectares) of state land is yet to be used.
Moreover, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land, has so far registered more than 6,000,000 jeribs (1,200,000 hectares) of land and is determined to register state land in order to implement public projects throughout the country.
