Nearly 480,000 Urban Informal Houses Registered in Kabul

In implementation of Programme for Registering Informal Urban Areas, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has registered 478,744 houses in Kabul province.

Out of the total; 9,653 houses are in 1 PD, 6,623 houses in 2 PD, 11,502 houses in 3 PD, 17,150 houses 4 PD, 39,692 houses in 5 PD, 39,449 houses 6 PD, 36,800 houses in 7 PD, 36,047 houses in8 PD, 22,810 houses 9 PD, 21,229 houses 10 PD, 31,463 houses 11 PD, 22,810 houses 12 PD, 47,252 houses 13 PD, 10,261 houses 14 PD, 26,650 houses 15 PD, 30,673 houses 16 PD, 46,772 houses 17 PD.

Also, 3,797 houses are registered in 18 PD, 3,651 houses 19 PD, 3,227 houses 20 PD, 2,987 houses 21 PD, 4,790 houses 22 PD and the remaining 3,772 houses have been registered in Mir Bacha Kot district of the province.

Subsequently, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has distributed 10,000 occupancy certificates to the beneficiaries of the urban informal areas and the process is firmly, transparently and quickly underway in Kabul province.
