Sayed Nasim Khaliq, Deputy Minister of Construction Affairs, during his visit to Mazar-e-Sharif, in the presence of the Governor of Balkh and provincial officials, inaugurated Mir Ghulam Mohammad Rabi School.

Moreover, during the ceremony, the Governor of Balkh, Mohammad Ishaq Rahguzar, spoke and highlighted the role of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, in implementation of land management, urban development and developmental projects, and stressed on the implementation and completion of developmental projects.

Furthermore, Mr. Sayed Nasim Khaliq, Deputy Minister of Construction Affairs, mentioned Balkh province as one of the most important provinces for the ministry, adding that the MUDL has recently started the implementation of 45 construction projects out of which, 10 projects have been handed over, 19 projects are under implementation, 5 projects are in procurement and the remaining 11 are in survey and design phase.

In addition, The Deputy Minister of Construction Affairs, stressed the need for speedy implementation of construction projects and directed the Balkh Urban Development and Land Directorate to pay serious attention to this issue.

Mir Ghulam Mohammad Rabi School has been constructed by the Ministry of Urban Development and Land through the Prefabricated Construction Company in two floors at a cost of about 23,000,000 AFN.
