2,000 Jeribs of Land Cleared in Samangan

The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL has cleared up 2,000 jeribs (400 hectares) of land for the expansion of Hazrat Sultan Township in central Samangan province.

Out of total; 1,938 jeribs (387.6 hectares) are state land and the remaining 62 jeribs (12.4 hectares) are private property that has been cleared in Gagra village of Hazrat Sultan district of the province.

Moreover, in proceed of distinguishing between state and private land and solving property disputes, the Ministry of Urban Development and Land has so far cleared 1,208,432 jeribs (241,686.4 hectares) of state and private lands and has accelerated implementation of public projects.
