20 Jeribs of Private Land Cleared up in Balkh
The Ministry of Urban Development and Land – MUDL, has cleared up 20 jeribs (4 hectares) of private land in Chamtal village in Chamtal district of the northern Balkh province.
Moreover, the aim of clearing of the land was to distinguish between the state-owned and non-state lands to provide facility for the implementation of the Bangala dam project.
Meanwhile, the ministry has so far cleared up more than 1,250,000 jeribs (250,000 hectares) of state land for the purpose of consolidating and distinguishing between the state land private properties and the acceleration of the process of implementation of economic and developmental programmes and creating ground for the implementation of public projects.
